"Haunted" is first Horror movie of the year and its also first sterioscop 3D movie of India so its expected that this movie gonna do an amazing business. F.A.L.T.U stands for the Fakhirchand and Lakirchad Trust University. This Indian Comedy film was released on 1 April 2011. The movie is directed by Remo D’Souza and producer of the film is Vashu Bhagnani. It is remake of the movie Accepted, which was released in 2006. The main cast includes Arshad Warsi as Google Chand, Riteish Deshmukh as Baaji Rao, Jackky Bhagnani as Ritesh, Puja Gupta as Puja, Chandan Roy as Vishnu, Angad Bedi as Niranjan. While Boman Irani, Darshan Jariwala, Akbar Khan, Mithun Cakraborty and Himani Shivpuri appear in guest roles.

The story revolves around four friends, Ritesh, Puja, Nanj Nayar and Vishnu. After passing high school, Vishnu gets admission in St. Peter’s college, but three other fail to get admission in any college. When Vishnu realizes problems of his friends, he also quits his college. After that, all four of them decide to establish their own educational institution and name it as “Fakhirchand and Lakirchad Trust University” or F.A.L.T.U. They take the help of an investor, Google chand, who buys a building for the college. All friends tell their parents that finally they got admission in college. Their parents decide to visit the college. To make their college real the four friends hire some fake students and a principal as Baaji Rao. Later, police finds out that college is fake and the four friends called to the court. Their parents get angry but Ritesh’s father seems really supportive. They decide to do a talent show at St. Peter’s college. They are interrupted by Vishnu’s father during their performance, which embarrasses all of them. At the end, Mithun enters and explains the true essence of education. He makes parents realize their mistake and finally F.A.L.T.U becomes the real college.

Movie got mostly negative reviews, but it was a semi hit on box office. Its gross collections are 36 crores, while its budget was around 30 crores. It was criticized in many departments, including too much songs and week direction, while choreography of the few segments by Remo is highly appreciated. Moreover, storyline also has many flaws. But the main idea is appreciated by the critics that address the problem of majority of students. Movie leaves a question, that where should majority of students go, who cannot score 70% marks, while they have passed the exams by scoring 33 %. In my opinion, this is an average movie, you might get irritated with too many songs, but theme of the movie is good enough.
